This depends on many factors such as the amount of coverage on a cake and the complexity of the arrangement. Basically, the more complex the flowers and the fuller the coverage the higher the cost.
Pretty much whatever you can dream, we can make! We love experimenting with new flowers, we also make a variety of sugar berries and fruits. The possibilities are endless!
Although we look to real flowers and foliage for inspiration we always like to take things a little further and push the boundaries of realism with interesting colours choices and more fantastical shapes.
Sugar flowers are a wonderful keepsake. If they're kept away from humidity and harsh light they'll keep for years and years to come!
Yes and no. Though 99% of the materials used in creating flowers are edible there are a few inedible elements. Fine wires add flexibility to petals and leaves and most flowers are created on a wire or skewer to insert into the cake, so we don't recommend eating them.
The addition of dried blooms or fresh foliage with sugar flowers can look really striking but we would avoid mixing fresh flowers with sugar flowers. This can have an "uncanny valley" effect and look a bit strange.
